High porosity hair refers to the high amount of gaps within the cuticle. The more gaps there are, the higher the porosity. 

Because of these gaps, high porosity hair is more susceptible to weather changes. 

In dry weather, high porosity hair will lose moisture through the gaps. So in dry climates, high porosity hair needs to be sealed to prevent drying out. 

This curl cream was intentionally formulated for high porosity hair in dry climates to define and seal the hair strands, protecting them from a harsh climate.

Organic tremella mushroom extract has the ability to hold moisture, it forms a light film over hair strands, locking in moisture thus helping to maintain the integrity of the hair. It is also a natural alternative to hyaluronic acid and silicones, leaving hair silky and shiny. 

Organic artichoke extract preserves the cohesion of cuticle scales. As a result, hair's protective outer shield is maintained, blocking the entry of damaging elements. Therefore, the internal matter will be less attacked by harmful factors. Artichoke leaf extract helps promote more resilient, shiny, frizz-free and disciplined hair.

Organic okra extract hydrates, naturally conditions, and moisturizes the hair. It also smooths the cuticle and fights frizz. It improves the shine and manageability of the hair. Okra gel is extremely hydrating and can boost the overall moisture content of natural hair. As a result, it can improve dry, dull-looking natural hair and boost its overall appearance. Organic flaxseed extract helps curls to clump and provides definition. It is rich with nutrients that our hair thrives with. It contains omega fatty acids, vitamin B, and vitamin E, which plays a protective role against free radical damage, promoting a healthy scalp and follicles to maximize hair growth. Because flaxseed is good at binding moisture to the hair, this reduces breakage and split ends. Not only does this improve elasticity but it also prevents it from breaking further.

Organic, unrefined coco butter is a great choice for high porosity hair strands as it is an occlusive that will hold water in, as well as preventing too much from entering the strands. Castor is one of the best oils for high porosity hair (especially in dry or humid weather) because it acts as a sealant that creates a thick coating on the hair strands to keep moisture in and frizz out.
