For medium porosity curls + coils in any climate. 

This deep conditioner was formulated for medium porosity curls and coils to readily penetrate and seal the hair shaft. It will not weigh your hair down. It will help maintain moisture balance, leaving your hair soft and manageable. 

Medium porosity hair refers to the “normal” amount of gaps within the cuticle. The more gaps there are, the higher the porosity. 

Because it isn’t too porous, medium porosity hair is typically considered healthy. It is able to maintain moisture and protein to keep the strands in relatively good shape. 

Deep conditioning moisturizes and softens hair damaged by chemical processing and exposure to heat. It improves hair elasticity, prevents hair breakage, and restores moisture retention. Deep conditioning regularly also helps to maintain length by keeping the hair as healthy as possible. 

Organic shiitake mushroom extract naturally strengthens and provides elasticity. These mushrooms are a good source of vitamin D, antioxidants, selenium and copper, all of which are essential for healthy hair.

Organic tremella mushroom extract has the ability to hold moisture, it forms a light film over hair strands, locking in moisture thus helping to maintain the integrity of the hair. It is also a natural alternative to hyaluronic acid and silicones, leaving hair silky and shiny. 

Organic bamboo extract is the richest known source of silica; it contains over 70% silica. Silica strengthens the hair and prevents thinning by delivering essential nutrients to your hair follicles. In addition to silica, it also contains biotin for hair growth and healthy collagen production. Biotin stimulates keratin production, resulting in stronger hair and faster growth.

Organic algae extract is full of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids which promote hair growth and thicken strands. It also contains laminaria angustata, which is believed to thicken hair.

Organic cupuacu butter is able to hold 4 times its weight in water, while also sealing in that moisture. It's great for low porosity hair in all climates as it isn’t a humectant, but can hold ample amounts of moisture. It won't cause flash drying in dry weather, or attract too much water in humid weather. It is also perfect for low porosity hair as it readily penetrates the hair shaft resulting in hair that is softer and more elastic.

Organic, unrefined muru muru butter is a Brazilian butter that will help to define curls, provide elasticity, and soften. It is high in fatty acids that will actually penetrate the hair shaft, resulting in softer, more moisturized hair. This butter boasts Vitamins A and E which makes it excellent at helping to prevent breakage, as well as  increasing shine and reducing frizz.

Organic, unrefined shea butter is able to penetrate the hair strands as well as hold in moisture. Its rich with hair loving fatty acids, antioxidants like vitamin C, and triglycerides that help condition your hair.

Organic tucuma butter revives damaged hair. It is light, fluffy, and non-comedogenic. Its high content of polyphenols fight free radicals to help retain elasticity. Its fatty acid content increases moisture levels and softness and adds shine to the strands. High amounts of vitamin A also contribute to a healthy, supple, oil-producing scalp for hair growth and length retention. Tucuma butter is an excellent choice for damaged hair in need of restructuring and stabilizing.

Organic, unrefined sunflower seed oil is a high-penetrating oil, notorious for adding moisture to strands, stimulating hair growth and improving scalp health. It is an emollient that also has humectant properties, allowing it to attract water to the hair.

Panthenol is a readily available source of provitamin B-5. Provitamin B-5 binds the hair follicles and coats to seal in moisture. This is great for preventing dry hair and scalp due to heat styling. It builds a very thin layer of moisture along the surface of the hair to add shine, softness and pliability without added oils or greasiness. It is touted as a "volumizer" because it has been shown to lift the hair and add fullness.

Propanediol is a natural, green, propylene glycol alternative derived from corn sugar. It helps to improve moisturization in the scalp and hair, which further helps to reduce frizz and soften the hair.

Sodium PCA is a natural hydrating agent derived from oils, plants and fruits. It enhances the appearance and feel of hair, by increasing hair body, suppleness, and sheen. It  improves the appearance of hair that has been damaged physically or by chemical treatment. 

Naturally-derived, non-toxic conditioners help to reduce frizz, soften, and add bounce to curls. They reduce friction and make detangling easier.
