Medium porosity hair refers to the “normal” amount of gaps within the cuticle. The more gaps there are, the higher the porosity. 

Because it isn’t too porous, medium porosity hair is typically considered healthy. It is able to maintain moisture and protein to keep the strands in relatively good shape.

In dry weather, medium porosity hair will lose moisture through the gaps, although at a slower rate than high porosity hair, but faster than low porosity hair. So in dry weather, medium porosity hair needs to be sealed to prevent drying out. 

 This curl cream was intentionally formulated for medium porosity hair in dry climates to seal your curls, while defining them and providing light hold.

Organic, unrefined cupuacu butter is a Brazilian butter that keeps moisture in your strands, softens, and nourishes. It is actually able to hold FOUR TIMES its weight in water! This makes it perfect for dry climates, where water is easily lost. 

Organic, unrefined almond oil rich in vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin E, etc, almond oil is perfectly suitable for all the hair types especially curly and wavy. It is known for locking the moisture in hair and increasing elasticity and softness of the hair. It is great for medium porosity hair as it carries protein to the strands without overloading them.
