Medium porosity hair refers to the “normal” amount of gaps within the cuticle. The more gaps there are, the higher the porosity. 

Because it isn’t too porous, medium porosity hair is typically considered healthy. It is able to maintain moisture and protein to keep the strands in relatively good shape. 

In dry weather, medium porosity hair will lose moisture through the gaps, although at a slower rate than high porosity hair. So in dry weather, medium porosity hair needs to be sealed to prevent drying out. 

 This leave-in conditioner was intentionally formulated for medium porosity hair in dry climates to soften and seal the hair strands, protecting them in harsh climates.

Organic bamboo extract is the richest known source of silica; it contains over 70% silica. Silica strengthens the hair and prevents thinning by delivering essential nutrients to your hair follicles. In addition to silica, it also contains biotin for hair growth and healthy collagen production. Biotin stimulates keratin production, resulting in stronger hair and faster growth.

Organic, unrefined macadamia nut oil is a lightweight, non-greasy oil. It provides shine and strength to dry, vulnerable hair. Rich in vitamin E, magnesium, omega 9, palmitoleic acid, and other unsaturated fatty acids, macadamia oil’s unique composition separates itself from other natural oils in that it smooths, shines, strengthens, and absorbs deep into the strands. 

Organic, unrefined argan oil is a light oil with high amounts of Vitamin E. It is a great and nourishing carrier oil frequently used in hair care. Its high level of phenols and phenolic acid, carotenes, squalene, essential fatty acids, and 80% unsaturated fatty acids make it great for fulle, dry hair. Researchers have found that argan oil's hydrophobic properties helped to restore the hair cuticle and prevent breakage and overall protein loss.

Organic, unrefined sunflower seed oil is a high-penetrating oil, notorious for adding moisture to strands, stimulating hair growth and improving scalp health. It is an emollient that also has humectant properties, allowing it to attract water to the hair.

Organic, unrefined almond oil rich in vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin E, etc, almond oil is perfectly suitable for all the hair types especially curly and wavy. It is known for locking the moisture in hair and increasing elasticity and softness of the hair. It is great for medium porosity hair as it carries protein to the strands without overloading them. 

Betaine is extracted from sugar beets. It protects hair proteins by helping the keratin cells retain water, improving the volume and texture of the hair shaft. Moreover, the outer layer of the hair shaft becomes more durable and long-lasting. It also protects the hair from UV damage.

Propanediol is a natural, green, propylene glycol alternative derived from corn sugar. It helps to improve moisturization in the scalp and hair, which further helps to reduce frizz and soften the hair.
